God is Real
Discover our incredible true story, God is Real detailing the amazing supernatural appearance of white feathers that began at our sister's celebration of life in 2016 and continues today, over 8 years later.
We all face moments of darkness, moments when we feel lost. But the birth of Jesus Christ, over 2,000 years ago, was God's answer to the world's brokenness. It was the fulfillment of His promise to send a Savior. In the town of Bethlehem, a child was born—a child who would change the course of history.
We read in the Gospel of Matthew how wise men followed a star— a star that led them to the newborn King. That star, the Star of Bethlehem, was a sign the Messiah had come into the world. It was a beacon of hope, guiding those who sought Him to the place where He lay.
In Matthew 2:1-2, it says, 'After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him."' That star led them to the Savior. It was God's way of proclaiming to the world that hope had arrived.
In Luke 2:10-11, an angel appeared to shepherds in the field and said, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.' What an incredible moment—the Messiah, born in such humble surroundings, yet He came to save the world.
The Gift of Salvation
This was no ordinary child. This was God in the flesh, sent to rescue a broken world. In John 1:14, it says, 'The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.' Jesus didn't just come to live a perfect life; He came to offer salvation to each one of us.
When we face struggles, when we feel like all is lost, we must remember why Jesus came. He came for the broken, for the weary, for those in need of redemption. His birth was the beginning of the greatest story of love the world has ever known.
Finding Hope in the Darkness
Just as the Star of Bethlehem pointed the way to Jesus, He remains the light that guides us today. If you feel lost, if you feel burdened by the weight of life's struggles, know this: Jesus is your way out. He came to seek and to save the lost. His birth was the ultimate expression of God's love for us, and through Him, we can find forgiveness, healing, and restoration.
It's never too late to turn to Jesus. No matter where you've been, no matter what you've done, His grace is available to you. Just as the shepherds and wise men sought Him all those years ago, He invites you to seek Him today.
For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6). Jesus is the gift of salvation, and He offers each of us the chance to start anew. No matter how dark the night, His light still shines.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray His light would shine in the hearts of all who are struggling today. May they find hope, healing, and salvation in Him. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
